Please see below a link for a survey on fish species used for research, their euthanasia and their health monitoring.

The survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete and it will close on 31st May 2018.

FELASA, the Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Association has set up two working groups on laboratory fish. One group focuses on the humane killing of lab fish (excluding the slaughter of fish used for human consumption). The other group focuses on the health monitoring of fish, in association with AALAS, The American Association for Laboratory Animal Science. The first objective of the survey is to have a census of fish species used for research. The survey will also help the working groups assess current practice.
